Village amenities include swimming pool, butchers, patisserie, tourist office, bars, restaurants, general store, post office and bank. In July and August the village is lively with festivals.

Ideal in summer for all outdoor activities including walking with many waymarked walks, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, cycling, accrobeuch, sightseeing. In winter the nearest ski area is 7km from the house, ideal for beginners and intermediates.
